View asset onlyPoland, Wroclaw: dwarves "Firefighters" near entrance to the underground world of the dwarves on churchyard of St. Elizabeth Church, at night; From August 2005 to 2020, around 600 small copper and bronze statues of dwarves have been installed in the city center of Wroclaw. They all record the Orange Alternative and civil resistance in Wroclaw, from 1981 to 1990, but stay also for the well feeling in Wroclaw, today. First five dwarves have been made 2005 by sculptor Tomasz Moczek, who finished The Academy of Art and Design Wroclaw. These include the famous "Sisyphus" dwarves (Polish: „Syzyfki“).
