Nadar
Nadar (born Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, (6 April 1820 – 20 March 1910), was not only one of the most important French photographers in the second half of the 19th Century, but also a writer, caricaturist and balloonist, who took some of the first aerial photographs often at great personal risk.

Nadar also photographed a wide range of famous personalities of his time: politicians (Guizot, Proudhon), stage actors (Sarah Bernhardt), writers (Hugo, Baudelaire, Sand, Nerval, Gautier, Dumas), painters (Corot, Delacroix, Millet), and musicians (Liszt, Rossini, Offenbach, Verdi, Berlioz), among many others.
