Guenay Ulutuncok
Guenay Ulutuncok, born 1954 in Istanbul, begins his career as a photographer and layout designer at the “Kölner Volksblatt”. After studying architecture, he was one of the co-founders of the photography agency Laif in Cologne in 1981.
His first reports took him to North Africa and the Middle East in the early 1980s, later on also to sub-Saharan Africa. Since the 1990s, numerous exhibitions, most recently “Life before the persecution – Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, 1915” and “MOVEMENT IN VIEW”, The Cologne photographer scene of the 70s, 80s.
Today he works as a photographer, curator and designer.
