Urs Schweitzer: India
Urs Schweitzer, born in 1950, discovered photography as a form of expression at an early age and studied photo design at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Dortmund from 1970 to 1975.
Later he combined his profession with his passion for travelling. Since the 80s he has travelled again and again, especially to India and its surrounding countries.
Schweitzer himself describes his way of photography as classic. His topics are people, portraits, festivals, urban scenes and everyday life, but also landscape, cities and architecture. He likes to stroll and develop a feeling for place and situation.
