François Couperin “le Grand” (1668 - 1733)
François Couperin, also called "le Grand", was an organist, harpsichordist and composer of the French High Baroque.
He is regarded as the most famous member of the Couperin family of musicians.

From 1693 he worked as a musician, composer and music teacher at the court of Louis XIV and his successor, Louis XV, and was one of the most important musical personalities of his time.
