As 2013 draws to a close, we want
to thank you for your continued support of akg-images which has helped
us to grow and develop our business since we first opened our doors in
London almost twenty years ago. As well as our Christmas card for 2013
and details of our revised opening hours over the festive period, we
have a number of Christmas-inspired selections on this month's
newsletter, including crowds, family gatherings, overindulgence and
stocking fillers big and small. There's also some advice on what to do
when Christmas seems to be going wrong!
We're also celebrating the welcome return of a wonderful archive of
black-and-white photography after an absence of three years. Archivio
Cameraphoto Epoche (previously called Bianconero) is a glorious
collection of black-and-white photographs taken in Venice from the
1940s to the 1980s and is now available again through akg.
We have had wonderful
feedback on the vintage selections that we have made for the 2013
newsletter, so we have also brought together all the retro stories we
featured this year in a mini-newsletter we call "2013: A Vintage Year".
So if you missed out on any of our glamorous ladies, amusing animals or
mystery men, here's your chance to catch up!
With our very best wishes for Christmas and New Year,
The team at akg-images in London
