on 12 June 1890, we mark the 120th anniversary of the birth
of artist Egon Schiele.
Despite dying at twenty-eight, Schiele left behind an impressive
- and influential - body of work, often obsessed with the ugly
beauty of the human form. We present an overview of the man's
life and work.
